Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers, HBO/HBO Max Tomorrow
The glory years of the Los Angeles Lakers will be featured in a new scripted series. Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers will debut on HBO and HBO Max tomorrow night, at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.
The 10-part series will focus on the NBA team’s glory years with the likes of Pat Riley, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, Jerry Buss and other Laker personalities.
The program is inspired by the book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s.
