With the start of the 2019 college football season only weeks away, we welcome back sports magazine editor Phil Steele for our yearly CYInterview college football preview. This year is the 25th edition of his preseason college football magazine. The 2019 issue has over 340 pages of college football information.
This year, Phil believes Alabama and Clemson will once again meet for the National Championship. He thinks Alabama avenges its loss to Clemson that occurred in last year’s national title game. Though Phil seems certain these two college football powerhouses will play for it all again, he said this:
“So, anything can happen in college football, but it sure looks like Alabama/Clemson.”
Teams discussed include: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Utah, Memphis, LSU, Texas, Florida and CYInterview regular, Mike Leach’s Washington State Cougars.
