We Look Hopefully to the Near Future as Some Shows Begin Preparing to Reopen Here in Las Vegas, Once the Green Light is Given
With most shows and live performances in Las Vegas sidelined since March, due to the coronavirus pandemic, there was some positive news this past week for the local entertainment community. KVVU Fox 5 reported that the show, Absinthe, is getting its venue at Caesars Palace ready for reopening, once the green light is given.
Abinthe’s production company, Spiegelworld, is prepping its other shows to return as well, including The Atomic Saloon Show at The Venetian Resort and Casino, which we covered earlier this year [see here]. The word is that a variety of new safety protocols will be put into place, owing to the pandemic.
On CYInterview recently, producer, show creator and mime extraordinaire Hanoch Rosenn told us that he could open his Las Vegas shows WOW – The Vegas Spectacular and his new production Extravaganza with a limited audience; one third to one half of the venues’ capacities, once the go ahead is given [see here].
Patience is the byword, as shows and live performances will be back in Las Vegas. For now, we all can help, by masking up, washing our hands and maintaining appropriate social distance, in order to defeat Covid-19.
Applause and standing ovations for superb performers will no doubt fill the air once again in this, the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Happy Sunday Evening! Hang in there. Things will get better!
