Way Back Wednesday: Five Years Ago this Month We Met Phil Collins on Miami Beach; Evening Was Beginning of Comeback
This month marks five years since we met Phil Collins on the red carpet at a gala on Miami Beach, at the Little Dreams Foundation. We spoke with him, asking if he was making a comeback. He shared this:
“Could be! You know, I mean, I’ve enjoyed it, rehearsals. I got friends back in my band again, you know, some of my band. And Nick’s [Collins’s son] playing drums with us and it sounds fantastic. And so, you know, it’s possible. I’m thinking about it.”

Indeed, that night would end up being the beginning of a comeback for Phil Collins. Subsequently, it led to a worldwide music tour, consisting of 97 concerts.
