Waiting for the Go, Palms Casino Resort Still Shuttered: Hopefully Famed Flamingo Road Property in Las Vegas Will Announce Reopening Soon
With the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino officially reopening on December 22nd, there is only one resort on Flamingo Road, just west of the Las Vegas Strip, that has not yet announced when its doors will be open again. All eyes now turn to the Palms Resort Casino. It has been closed since the spring when all resorts in Las Vegas were shuttered due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The third resort on Flamingo Road, The Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, has been open since June. Above is a picture of the Palms Casino Resort sign taken last night. The hotel and casino’s signage continues to burn bright through the night, giving hope it will reopen sometime soon.
CYInterview has covered some memorable events at the Palms Casino Resort, including attending the 2018 UFC Hall of Fame, in order to be there for past CYInterview guest Art Davie’s induction speech [see here] and attending one of rapper Cardi B’s concert performances at the Kaos Nightclub [see here].
Aside from its compelling live entertainment, the Palms also has an upscale movie theater replete with comfortable seating. We look forward to the resort’s opening its doors once more.
