UNLV Las Vegas Rebels Coach Not Returning
Yesterday, it was announced that the University of Las Vegas, Nevada Rebels football coach Marcus Arroyo would not be returning as head coach next year.
The change at head coach comes after UNLV’s best season in three years. At 5-7, the Rebels just missed having a 500 season and a record that would have guaranteed them a bowl berth.
Whoever UNLV hires as its next head football coach, the team has a great home, getting to play at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Coach Arroyo’s record in three seasons was 7-23. As Las Vegas continues to become more of a sports city, we believe that UNLV football is headed toward greatness. There were moments of greatness this year.
