Undefeated WBC Lightweight Champion Devin Haney Moves Training Back to Las Vegas, Prepares for Matchup with Jorge Linares

We are now 11 days away from the anticipated Memorial Day Weekend fight between undefeated boxer, WBC Lightweight Champion Devin Haney and Jorge Linares.

Devin Haney has now moved his fight preparation from California back to Las Vegas. He is currently sparring with some of our local pros. The fight will take place on May 29th at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino’s Michelob ULTRA Arena.

On the fight being in Las Vegas, Devin Haney said this at his training camp:

“Las Vegas is where I currently reside. I’m thrilled to have an opportunity to fight in front of my family and friends. I’ve only fought in Vegas a couple of times, way back in 2016, before I became a world champion. I’m 100% ready to show up and show out. Las Vegas is the mecca of boxing’s biggest shows and for me this is just the beginning.”

We wish the local boxer the very best in his upcoming local bout. If you are not in Las Vegas to witness the event live, you can watch the fight on DAZN, worldwide.
