Top Gun: Maverick, Tom Cruise’s Best Opening Weekend
This Memorial Day weekend, Top Gun: Maverick drew lots of people to movie theaters. In just a few days, the film has grossed over $150 million.
This is the best opening weekend Tom Cruise has ever had in his already legendary movie career. The reaction to the Top Gun sequel, so far, has been mostly positive.
On her Facebook page, Filmmaker, actress and past CYInterview guest Liz Vassey [see here and here] said this about the movie after seeing it:
“Just saw @TopGunMovie and would turn around and see it again right now.”
