Yesterday, we shared our CYInterview with Las Vegas based singer Skye Dee Miles [see here].
The soulful soloist had interesting things to say about her 15-year career in the Entertainment Capital of the World. This is what she shared about being a longtime performer in the city:
“I think living in Las Vegas, people think everything is always fun, fun, fun. But you know, performing for 15 years in these casinos, I’ve met so many people who are recovering from, you know, cancer or they just lost a partner or they’re getting a divorce. You learn that everybody’s not here having a party. You know, so you have to really tap into all the different emotions that people may be having.”
