Tom Brady Acquires Stake in Las Vegas Aces

Earlier this year, NFL quarterback Tom Brady [see here] announced his retirement from professional football, after winning seven Super Bowls.

Now in retirement, Mr. Brady is investing in women’s professional sports. He has acquired an ownership stake in the Las Vegas Aces women’s basketball team of the WNBA.

In a video on Twitter, Tom Brady said that his love of women’s sports came from watching his three older sisters play sports:

“They were all incredible athletes in their own right. They were role models to me. It’s where my love of women’s sports began.”

Las Vegas Aces and Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis [see here and here] said this about Tom Brady joining the Las Vegas Aces franchise:

“Tom Brady is a win not only for the Aces, and the WNBA, but for women’s professional sports as a whole.”
