Tomorrow, May 29th, Focus Features will release The High Note on Video on Demand. The movie focuses on an assistant to a famous singer, whose goal is to become a producer. Actress Tracee Ellis Ross plays the singer. Being that she is the daughter of Diana Ross, her role might seem like a tribute to her famous mother.
The cast also includes Dakota Johnson, Bill Pullman, Ice Cube, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Zoe Chao and Eddie Izzard.
