Speaking of comics, in 2019, Academy Award winning actress Mo’Nique made history as the first African American woman to have a comedy residency on the Las Vegas Strip. Her show took place at the then SLS Hotel and Casino, now named the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. See our photo with her above.
