Over the last number of weeks we have brought you coverage of the 18th Annual Intercontinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball. Of greater importance, however, than the glitz, glamour and entertainment, the main reason for people coming together at this event, was to support an organization geared to granting the wishes of children dealing with formidable challenges.
A few weeks ago, at the world debut of her cabaret show at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center in South Florida, Kimberley Locke displayed her comedic talents, regaled us with stories of celebrities and charmed us with gifted singing.
First, on behalf of myself and the entire CYInterview team, I would like to extend our condolences to all those affected by last week’s horrific school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut.

It was the South Florida sendoff for retiring American tennis star Andy Roddick. Competing in the exhibition Miami Tennis Cup tournament, he surprised fans Saturday evening by defeating reigning US Open Champion/Olympic gold medalist Andy Murray. As Roddick rode into the sunset, another player at the tournament exhibited his prowess.

Miami’s drag queen numero uno, Elaine Lancaster – whose profile has been rising thanks to The Real Housewives of Miami – walked the red carpet in a formfitting black dress and signature big blonde hair.
