Stunning Samantha Hoopes Walks Swimwear Like It’s Meant to be Done; Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Wows at Miami Swim Week

The last year has been an exciting one for Samantha Hoopes. The 23 year old, Pennsylvanian model on the rise made her first appearance earlier this year in the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. The blonde beauty also worked for Guess. Last month, Ms. Hoopes walked for the first time in Miami Swim Week. Fellow Sports Illustrated swimsuit models Nina Adgal and Hannah Davis were in the front row cheering Samantha on, as she debuted in that big week of swimsuit fashion shows.

Beach Bunny Show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim: CYInterview on Hand; Our Conversation with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Samantha Hoopes on Tap

This is arguably the biggest week in the swimsuit world. Buyers, global media, models and fashion enthusiasts partake of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. Also known as Miami Swim Week, there are lots of other swimsuit events beyond Mercedes-Benz, taking place. This is also one of the busiest weekends of the year on South Beach. This year’s events are running from Thursday July 18th to Monday July 21st. Yesterday evening, we had a chance to attend Beach Bunny’s swimsuit show. Numerous models walked the catwalk, showing a set of original designs by Phillipe and David Blond. It was Beach Bunny’s 2015 spring collection presentation.

Former Lingerie Model Kylie Bisutti Talks about Her New Book I’m No Angel; Gives Her Take on the Unglamorous Side of the Glamour Industry

Before reaching 18, she was living the fantasy of many teenage girls. Kylie Bisuitti was traveling the world and living the life of a successful model. Though she claims there were instances when some tried to take advantage of her, with the support of family, she continued on. Her modeling career reached its high point when in 2009 she won the Victoria Secret Angel contest, beating out thousands of other hopefuls. Winning the contest gave her the opportunity to be a part of the yearly Victoria Secret Fashion show, watched yearly by millions on television. The experience gave Kylie the opportunity to meet some of the world’s most famous models. These were women she looked up to, runway stars like Heidi Klum and Miranda Kerr.

Lisa Pliner: Sexy, Funny and Down to Earth – this Shoe Designer is One of the Nicest Society Folks You Will Ever Meet

Back in April, at The Blacks’ Annual Gala, we met the fun and down to earth shoe designer Lisa Pliner [see here]. Though we only spoke with her briefly on the red carpet that evening, it was memorable. Lisa and her husband, shoe mogul Donald J. Pliner, have left their mark on the fashion industry. She is the creative director behind Donald J. Pliner luxury shoes, which caters to both men and women. Their company has stores in six major malls in places like Miami, Las Vegas and Houston.

Black Again: Country Music Star John Rich Entertains The Real Housewives of Miami, Other Miami Bigs at Roy and Lea Black’s Lux Coral Gables Home; Evening a Big Success

This past Friday evening, members of the cast of The Real Housewives of Miami and country music star John Rich met up at Roy and Lea Black’s Coral Gables home for a special get together/cocktail party. Above you can see me with Lea, who is an absolutely superb hostess by the way. At the party, in addition to Miami’s beautiful people, there were mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres and plenty to drink. Guests were treated to classical music until John Rich arrived and performed in the living room. Before his performance, we had a chance to do a sit down CYInterview with him, covering his career, politics and much more. Our candid conversation with the country music star will be released exclusively, here on CYInterview, in the coming days.
