A Trip to the Stratosphere Tower’s Observation Deck Tops Things to Do in Las Vegas, Literally

Last year we had a chance to visit the long running adult show, Pin Up, featuring former Playboy Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclar at the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas [see her CYInterview here]. However, a trip to the Las Vegas resort should never go without a visit to the top of the Stratosphere Tower. There are many great things to do in Las Vegas. If you are looking for something you, your friends and your entire family can enjoy, the Stratosphere Tower’s Observation Deck makes for a great experience. Patrons can select to stay inside the glass lounge area or they can actually go outside and take in a panoramic view of Las Vegas including an unparalleled vista of the entire Las Vegas strip. Add to that the breeze and the sounds of the city below and a trip to the top of this incredible tower makes for lots of fun.

Jason Tenner as Prince in Purple Reign at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is Phenomenal! Show Provides Powerful Purple Tribute to the Now Deceased Superstar; Tenner Talks Prince, Meeting the Purple One, the Show and More

For his millions of fans, the death of multitalented music star Prince was a moment many did not expect. Prince passed away on April 21, 2016 at the age of 57. Musician Jason Tenner says he could not eat and barely slept for a few days after the Purple Rain singer’s passing. For over 15 years, Mr. Tenner has done his best to accurately represent Prince on stage. Now, he seeks to pay his respects to the now deceased artist, who so strongly impacted the music industry. On and off the Las Vegas Strip, Mr. Tenner has performed his Prince show titled Purple Reign, for more than a decade. The show comprises Jason Tenner as Prince, his band and various beautiful women. It certainly makes for a memorable evening. The show has a variety of Prince’s music, a few short humorous skits and a tribute that pays respect to the artist, now gone too soon. On the evening of Wednesday, May 25th, I attended Mr. Tenner’s Purple Reign Prince tribute show, which is now at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. The venue that evening was more than 95 percent full. Throughout the entire show, the performance received numerous standing ovations.

Fantasy at the Luxor Hotel & Casino is Dazzling, Dancing Dynamite: A Las Vegas Strip Must See, Lorena Peril’s Singing Tops, Sean E. Cooper’s Impersonations Hilarious, Dancers are Stunning – Adult Only Show, Some Nudity

For over 15 years on the Las Vegas Strip, the ladies of Fantasy have been entertaining crowds and winning awards. Voted the Best Showgirls in 2015 and 2012 by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, among other accolades, Fantasy is incredibly choreographed dance entertainment, showcasing beautiful women, who at times are topless. Add in the skills of the show’s lovely hostess, Lorena Peril, who demonstrates great singing chops and impersonator Sean E. Cooper as some of pop culture’s most well known stars for comic relief, and you have one the best variety shows in Vegas. The show plays nightly at the Luxor Hotel & Casino with a start time of 10:30 PM. This show is for adults only. If you thought Fantasy might draw a principally male demographic, you would be in error. The evening I saw the show, the crowd featured couples and adults of all ages and backgrounds, both male and female. This performance has something for everyone. You can see my picture above with the cast of Fantasy, including the smoldering Lorena Peril, talented Sean E. Cooper and, of course, the beautiful women who make the evening memorable.

Comedy Master Eddie Griffin Wows at the Rio in Las Vegas, Irreverent Humor Brings Plenty of Laughs; Mason Pryor – Son of Late Comedy Genius Richard Pryor – and Thomas Ward Strong Opening Acts, More

Las Vegas, the entertainment capital of the world, hosts all sorts of spectacles, acrobatics shows, music performances, magic performances, celebrity tribute shows, showgirls, tours to the Grand Canyon and many other things for the millions visiting the city yearly. However, if you are looking for a laugh and are not easily offended, comedian and actor Eddie Griffin puts on a hilarious show in The King’s Room at the Rio All-Suite Las Vegas Hotel & Casino’s. I suspect it is unlike any comedy show you have ever experienced. Mr. Griffin’s show is a no holds barred commentary on a variety of social and political topics, as well as his life experiences. Some have called Eddie this generation’s Richard Pryor. It is a title he hopes to live up to every day. Speaking of the late Richard Pryor, Eddie has currently taken the late comedian’s son, Mason Pryor, under his wing. Mason is one of Mr. Griffin’s two opening acts. The young Pryor’s routine garnered laughs about sex and the financial challenges of being relatively new to the comedy game. The other opening act, comedian Thomas Ward, told jokes about Instagram models and his bad credit score, also to abundant laughs.
