Oh, and watching football on the weekend while grazing on nachos, chips and pizza has probably not aided us in the battle of the bulge either. With us on CYInterview, to share their perspectives on keeping our weight under control, are two extraordinary individuals. Thankfully, both of them have been with us on a variety of other occasions over the years. Individually, they have shared their insights and anecdotes from their respective areas of endeavor. Now, for the first time, we have paired them up – and what a dynamic duo they make!

To help with this, we welcome back neuroscientist and CYInterview regular Dr. Kristen Willeumier to tell us how we all can eat well during the holidays. While at the Amen Clinics, Dr. Kristen Willeumier taught weight loss courses that included former NFL players. She tells us we should all practice something called mindful eating, where we take note of what we are eating and what types of foods we are consuming.

In an almost one hour discussion, neuroscientist Dr. Kristen Willeumier and featured columnist Jay Bildstein discuss a variety of topics related to the subject. Kristen, for example, says she is a veteran of the master cleanse and has undertaken it for up to a week at a time. She says it is something she has firsthand experience with for almost 20 years.

    Last week, the National Geographic Channel premiered the documentary Facing Arnold Schwarzenegger. Frequent CYInterview guest, former Mr. Venice Beach, Golden Age bodybuilder and YouTube personality Ric Drasin is one of the people featured in it. He was, for a time, Arnold’s workout partner. In the documentary he shares stories about the action star and former Governor of California. The charismatic Mr. Drasin joins us to tell us what he thought about the Nat Geo documentary that includes Hollywood action stars Lou Ferrigno and Carl Weathers, among others.

To gain some perspective, we welcome back the articulate and forward thinking neuroscientist, Dr. Kristen Willeumier, to share her thoughts on the steps the NFL has taken in regards to concussions. During her career in the field of brain health, she has worked with a variety of former NFL players, striving to provide ways for their lives to be improved after the game.

    Recently, we welcomed back bodybuilding legend, actor, professional wrestler and all around entertainer Ric Drasin. The host of the popular YouTube show Ric’s Corner gave us an update on his recent health challenge and told us former WWE Champion and actor Steve Austin visited him in the hospital [see here]. Known as a man from the golden age of bodybuilding, Ric trained at legendary iron pumping establishment Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California, with bodybuilder supreme, Hollywood action star and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger. In a few weeks, the National Geographic Channel will be showing a documentary titled Facing Arnold Schwarzenegger. It airs on September 27th at 9:00 PM.

    He was part of the golden age of bodybuilding. He was one Arnold Schwarzenegger’s training partners during that era. He’s been an actor, a pro wrestler and a pro wrestling teacher. He shares much of his knowledge on his popular YouTube show Ric’s Corner. Additionally, he is currently a contributor to the Huffington Post. Of course, we are talking about none other than past CYInterview guest Ric Drasin. Recently, the former Mr. Venice Beach was in and out of the hospital. Ric Drasin tells us what happened and gives an in-depth recounting of his recent health challenge, from beginning to end. While in the hospital, the host of Ric’s Corner was reached out to by some well-known individuals, including former WWE World Champion and movie star Steve Austin, who checked in on him.
