Most of us have heard, I am sure, that laughter is good for the soul. And, no doubt, many of us have heard that laughter is good for our immune systems. How many of us, however, look at laughter from an economic perspective?
Years ago, in high school, I went to a local community center to lift weights. The center had a gym, basketball courts, a swimming pool, a track, etc. Additionally, a variety of courses were given there. For those who were interested, there were karate classes.
Some of us like to make New Year’s resolutions. Of those of us who do, plenty of us break our resolutions in short order. Change is tough, I get it. It’s so tough that many of us would rather tell other people what and how to change instead of focusing on mending our own ways. Change is challenging.
At this point I would like to let out a sigh. Uh, I mean a Psy. You never heard of Psy? I hadn’t either, till the other day. Online, over the past few months, I had seen the words “Gangnam Style.” I paid little attention to the term.
I like to ask the following question of people attending seminars on self-improvement and achievement, “What is more powerful, the sun or a laser in a laboratory?” Typically, people respond that the sun is unquestionably more powerful.
