Professional Wrestler Sam Houston Discusses Pro Wrestling Ribs and More: Makes an Interesting Claim about WrestleMania 4
In the Fall of 2016, professional wrestling legend Michael Sam Houston joined us here on CYInterview for an in-depth discussion about his life and the adversities he has overcome [see here]. With less than two weeks until WrestleMania 41, we welcome him back for an update on his life today, as well as to chew the fat about the past. During our conversation, Sam, who participated in WrestleMania 4, shared some interesting stories about the event. He says one of the wrestlers pulled a rib – the wrestling term for pulling a prank – by putting sleeping pills in the coffee available to wrestlers backstage during that show, so the wrestlers would be tired instead of energetic. Additionally, he claims that singer Hank Williams Jr. took a liking to his mother at a bar where they met, by chance, after WrestleMania 4.
Bodybuilding legend, pro wrestler, author, actor and the host of Ric's Corner on Youtube, Ric Drasin is now in his eighth week of recovering from knee replacement surgery. After having the operation, Ric revealed to us he wished he would have had the surgery years ago. Though he says his first few weeks recuperating have been challenging, he states that the surgery was worth doing. Featured columnist Jay Bildstein joins us for our latest segment with the golden age bodybuilder.

Dan Severn Wants to Be Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and He Should Be: Amateur Wrestling/MMA/Pro Wrestling Star Speaks Out
In amateur wrestling, mixed martial arts and professional wrestling, Dan Severn’s contributions stand out. Today, Dan is no longer actively fighting, yet he is still active in both pro wrestling and mixed martial arts as a trainer and promoter. Though many might focus on his accomplishments in the UFC and mixed martial arts in general, his time in pro wrestling is quite notable as well. Dan was a two time NWA World Champion. One of his runs as champ was one of the longest in the NWA title’s history. His reign as champion gave him a chance to spend time with professional wrestling legend Lou Thesz. A former WWE superstar, he was part of the company during one of the most successful periods of that promotion’s history.
