It was a house he always wanted to remodel. For Miami entrepreneur Michael Capponi, his dream came true when MC Dean CEO William H. Dean bought Terra Veritatis. The Miami Beach mansion formerly belonged to S.S. Kresge, who was the original founder of Kmart.
Earlier this week we posted photos of Terra Veritatis, taken during Mr. Dean’s birthday bash [see here]. Now we bring you our CYInterview with Michael Capponi , who lent a hand renovating the luxury home.
On Miami Beach, the evening of March 1st, the birthday party for William H. Dean, CEO of the Washington, DC based engineering firm MC Dean was a superb soiree. Guests were treated to open bars set up throughout the property, waiters provided delectable hors d’oeuvres and there was live entertainment as well. Libation, tempting food and music – a party trio carried out with uncommon savoir faire, making for an evening par excellence.
The evening provided Mr. Dean a chance to show off his new home – complete with changes and upgrades – the Miami Beach mansion known as Terra Veritatis, located on Pine Tree Drive. The property went through a reported two year, 47 million dollar renovation process. Today, it stands as one of the most expensive properties in the city’s history.
