Shrine Bowl, Allegiant Stadium Las Vegas, Defensive Battle
On Thursday, some of college football’s best four-year athletes played in the Shrine Bowl at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
The all-star game was a defensive battle, with no touchdowns being scored by either team. The West team defeated the East team by a final score of 12-3.
The defensive contest featured an interception by Florida Gators safety Trey Dean III, who was named the game’s MVP.
Aside from the game, all of the players in attendance had a chance to show their talents to NFL scouts and coaches. The Shrine Bowl is one of the first of a set of events that feature NFL prospects leading up to the NFL Draft in April.
