Rumble Young Man Rumble: Boxer Nico Walsh Ali, Muhammad Ali’s Grandson, Doesn’t Think Jake/Logan Paul Take Boxing Seriously

Yesterday, we spoke with up-and-coming boxer Nico Ali Walsh. A Las Vegas resident, the middleweight is the grandson of the late, great Muhammad Ali and son of actress Rasheeda Ali.

With a record of 4-0, he will be making his hometown boxing debut here, in the Entertainment Capital of the World, on April 30th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, against 7-1 Aljeandro Ibarra.

We will bring you the entire CYInterview later this week. In the meantime, below is some breaking news from our talk with Nico.

On whether we will ever see Nico Ali Walsh glove up to fight Jake or Logan Paul, the earnest, soft spoken middleweight had this to say:

“You know, I really don’t know because, I don’t know, I don’t think that the Paul Brothers, I don’t think that they’re taking boxing, like seriously. I don’t think that they’re trying to get to, you know, a championship level. I may be misunderstanding it, but I don’t think that that would ever happen because I’m definitely not in boxing, you know, for the money or like attention. That’s not my thing at all. I’m just trying to make a name for myself really.”
