We at CYInterview want to extend our condolences to the family of Bruno Sammartino. The pro wrestling legend and former WWWF Champion passed away last week. Though many focus on Bruno’s career in the squared circle, he was also incredibly strong and set some incredible marks in weightlifting and powerlifting. Back in 2009, we had an in-depth conversation with Bruno about his training regimen, which you can listen to by clicking here. Back in 2013 after many years of him being opposed, he was inducted by Arnold Schwarzenegger into the WWE Hall of Fame.
When it comes to commenting on pro wrestling, bodybuilding and the Terminator, few compare to Ric Drasin. The golden age bodybuilder was also a professional wrestler and was one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s training partners back in the 1970s. The host of the popular YouTube show Ric’s Corner joins us to discuss Bruno’s career as a pro wrestler as well as Mr. Sammartino’s legendary strength.
