Surviving member of world-renowned, big cat illusion act Siegfried and Roy, Siegfried Fischbacher, has died. He was 81 years of age. Mr. Fischbacher reportedly was suffering from terminal pancreatic cancer.
Last year, his stage partner, Roy Horn died from complications of Covid-19.
For years, Siegfried and Roy were the quintessential Las Vegas act, combining magic, big cats and plenty of glitz and glamor.
In August, when The Mirage resort reopened on the Las Vegas Strip, the street entering the hotel and casino was renamed Siegfried and Roy Drive.
CYInterview extends our condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Fischbacher at this difficult time.
