Ricky Martin Performs to Packed House at Park Theater at the Park MGM in Las Vegas: Talented and Dynamic as Ever, His Show Thrills; Invites William Hung of Idol Fame on Stage to Sing She Bangs, Closes Show with Rousing Cup of Life, More

People from across the world gathered at the Park Theater last night, June 2nd, to see Ricky Martin’s All In show. The theater was packed to capacity and fans were treated to a first class show. Ricky is, no doubt, one of the best performers out there today.

We had a chance to meet the Grammy winner before the concert. See our photo together, above.

Ricky Martin’s concert was chock full of great music spanning his entire career. He was backed up by incredible female and male dancers. The show began with Ricky coming down from the ceiling signing Livin’ La Vida Loca and the fun never stopped after that. Other songs included Shake Your Bon-Bon, Nobody Wants to Be Lonely and even Luck Be a Lady Tonight, made famous by Frank Sinatra.

The surprise of the evening was Ricky inviting William Hung, of American Idol fame, up on stage with him to sing She Bangs. Hung, you may remember, became famous for singing the song for Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. At the time, he admitted that prior to his audition on the Fox reality TV show, he had no formal musical training. Though his audition with American Idol failed, he gained a national following of fans. See our photo with William Hung below after the concert, below.

Martin closed the show with a raucous rendition of The Cup of Life (La Copa de la Vida.) The high energy tune gained worldwide fame as the official song of 1998 FIFA World of Cup, which took place in France, and was a chart topper. What a way to close the show, especially considering this year’s World Cup is coming up.

Ricky’s final show for this run of his Park MGM residency is tonight Sunday June 3rd. If you are in Las Vegas and want to see Ricky Martin, who is truly a talented and dynamic performer, this is a great chance to experience his music.
