On May 26th at 7:00 PM Pacific, UNLV Professor Emerita Dr. Sue Fawn Chung will present a live Zoom presentation in conjunction with The Neon Museum and their resident scholar program. The topic for the presentation will be the history of Chinese people in Las Vegas. Topics will include the growth of Chinese restaurants and the Chinese American population in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Dr. Fawn Chung was at UNLV for almost 40 years, retiring in 2015. She taught history and served as Director of International Programs. She holds degrees from UCLA, Harvard and the University of California-Berkley.
