Just one mile west of the Las Vegas Strip, on Flamingo Road, sit three hotel/casinos. Those resorts are the Palms Casino Resort, Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, and the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino.
Currently, only one of those resorts, the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, has re-opened. The shuttered resorts have been closed since March, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Pictured above is a photo of the Gold Coast yesterday evening. It re-opened on June 4th.
There is still no word on when the Palms and Rio will be re-open. For now, the Gold Coast, which is a Boyd Gaming establishment, is your one option in that area of Las Vegas.
Remember, if you are visiting a resort and casino in Las Vegas, mask wearing is mandatory. It is also smart, along with social distancing, avoiding crowds, and frequent and thorough hand washing.
