Planet Hollywood Sign Headed to The Neon Museum in Las Vegas

In 1991, Planet Hollywood opened its first location in New York City. The celebrity themed restaurant had the backing of Hollywood stars including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Wills.

In 1994 a Planet Hollywood opened at Caesars Palace, here in Las Vegas. At that time, it became the highest grossing location for the franchise.

In 2007, the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort and Casino opened a mile south of Caesars Palace, on the Las Vegas Strip.

Recently, the Planet Hollywood sign, from the original Caesars Palace location, was removed from the Las Vegas Strip. It will be placed at The Neon Museum. You can see a picture of the sign above.
