Pirate Ships of Treasure Island Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip

A great attraction on the Las Vegas Strip are the pirate ships at Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. At night, the two ships are lit up. You can see a picture, of one of the boats, above.

Until 2013, the resort and casino had a pirate show that took place on those ships. More than 15,000 performances took place. In those eight years since the last time someone walked the plank, there have been ongoing comments online by visitors to Las Vegas who wish the show would come back.

Much like the Bellagio fountains and volcano at The Mirage, the pirate ship show at Treasure Island was a signature attraction of The Las Vegas Strip. As has long been the case, at times what is old becomes new again. Perhaps; one day the show will come back.

Happy Sunday!
