This week, a study by researchers at Australian National University was reported by The Sun, a News UK Company, regarding fast food and how it might lead to early dementia and decreased brain function. With us to talk about this study is CYInterview regular, neuroscientist Dr. Kristen Willeumier.

While at the Amen Clinics, Kristen directed weight loss groups, within the context of improving brain health. On the subject of unhealthy eating habits and lack of exercise, Dr. Willeumier believes it leads to brain shrinkage and has other negative implications for the brain. She also notes that having a good body mass index is important and that it is never too late to make better choices for our health.
