Tony Bennett gives us inspiration that age is only a number, singing verses of New York New York with John Legend. Cher, pictured above, reminded us of her political activism reading from the book Fire and Fury during the skit that Hillary Clinton also appeared in. Lady Gaga dedicated her performance to her late aunt. Elton John showed us he was having fun, with Miley Cyrus, performing Tiny Dancer. And Bruno Mars was one of the evenings big award winners taking home Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
These five stars have had, are having or will continue their ongoing residences on the Las Vegas Strip. In the last year, Tony Bennett did shows at Wynn Las Vegas. This week and the first week in February, Cher is expected to be at MGM’s Park Theater where Bruno Mars will be for a few dates in mid-February. Lady Gaga will also be in Vegas sometime in 2018 for the beginning of an anticipated residency. And who could forget Elton John and his residency at Caesars Palace. He will be back in February for numerous shows there. With his recent retirement announcement, there may not be more chances to see him in Vegas.
The Grammys give us another reason why you should come to Las Vegas. It’s where music’s biggest stars, from all eras, perform for crowds from all across the world.
