Currently at The Neon Museum is an exhibit of items used at and tributing the Moulin Rouge Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas that was open for less than a year in 1955. Earlier this month [see here], we shared with you the historical importance of the Moulin Rouge as the first desegregated hotel and casino in Las Vegas.
The current exhibit at The Neon Museum was brought in by the Museum of Gaming History. In its displays of old casinos and gaming items, the Museum of Gaming History educates people about the history of gaming in the State of Nevada. It is an educational project that is part of the Casino Collectibles Association.
