Model/Actor Tyson Beckford Back with Chippendales at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for Limited Run, Singer/Showgirl Melody Sweets, formerly of Absinthe, Joins Him; Show’s a Hit!
This past week, Tyson Beckford, considered by some to be the most successful male model of all time, returned to Las Vegas for another run of the popular Chippendales show, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Back in 2014, Beckford, who is also an actor, was declared by Vogue Magazine to be the best male model of all time.
Now 47 years old, Tyson did not disappoint the predominantly female audience at the show Saturday evening September 29th. He was, in fact, lavished with applause for his efforts. The model/actor definitely knows how to entertain a crowd. As a returning celebrity guest host for Chippendales, Beckford acknowledged that the cast of the show is like family to him.
Before the performance, a special reception was held where Tyson mingled with CYInterview and other media. You can see our photo above. Additionally, he showed off the famous Chippendales outfit to the media as well. You can see that photo with him below.
What made Saturday’s Chippendales show extra special was getting to see the multitalented singer/showgirl/burlesque performer Melody Sweets. Known formerly for her role in the hit Caesars Palace show Absinthe, she partook in Tyson Beckford’s most steamy scene during the show.
In that scene, which takes place in a shower and commences to the Prince song Purple Rain, Tyson Beckford is wet and barely covered. He selects a woman from the audience to dry him off and dress him. Melody Sweets is the woman from the audience chosen. The crowd was delighted by this skit. See our photo with Melody after the show, below.
