Mighty Silver and Black Goes it Alone for Health’s Sake: Las Vegas Raiders Owner Mark Davis Wisely Announces His Team to Play in New Home, Allegiant Stadium, Sans Fans for Season Owing to Covid

It was announced earlier this week, by Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis – pictured with us above – that his storied NFL team will play its home games in its new home, Allegiant Stadium, without the benefit of fans in the stands. The decision was made due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the Las Vegas community will most certainly be cheering on their new pro football team once the NFL season begins. The team’s stadium is almost complete. Hopefully, by the Fall of 2021 the city’s football fans will be able to visit Allegiant Stadium and raise a ruckus befitting the silver and black.

From a purely visual point of view, Allegiant stadium is an amazing sight to behold, adjacent to the Las Vegas Strip. It is a powerful addition to a city built on vision, courage and perseverance.

The Raiders Coach, Jon Gruden, recently mentioned that one of the team’s goals is to defeat the virus so there can be an NFL season. With that in mind, we all must mask up when going out of our homes, practice social distancing, stay out of crowds and wash our hands frequently and assiduously. This is how we can do our part to help defeat Covid-19.

One day, in the not too distant future, the din of cheering football fans in stadiums across the United States will reverberate once more. Keep hope alive. Working together, we shall prevail!
