We recently brought you our report on Hans Klok’s new magic show for his residency at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. The Las Vegas Strip offering is great entertainment, chockablock with compelling illusions. We talked about that in our review, which you can see here. The illusionist, hailing from the Netherlands, is living his dream, performing his new show in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
Recently, we had a chance to CYInterview Hans Klok as well, about a variety of topics including his return to the Las Vegas Strip, why he is billed as the world’s fastest magician, what makes a great magician and illusionist and some stories of his work with Pamela Anderson on his first Las Vegas Strip Show back in 2007.
At his show at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino, you will see him perform magic in a matter of seconds. No doubt, it took lots of work and time to get some of those tricks down. Hans Klok says he practices every day to make the final result mesmerizing for the audience:
“I’m always practicing. I practice every day. Before I do the show, I practice. It’s also, like, a team sport. I’m not performing all by myself. I have the best assistants in the world, which have also been for over 20 years together.”
Back in 2007, Hans Klok made his Las Vegas Strip debut with a magic show at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino with Pamela Anderson. He shared this about her:
“She’s a very intelligent lady. Of course, you have to be if you work with me I think because you have to be very fast and you should almost read my mind so we are able to do these Illusions. Not that she did that many, but the ones she did were not that easy. And she’s very faithful and somebody you could trust. And she always showed up because I was afraid, ok, you do like six shows a week, then after three shows we’ll get the call, oh today she’s not coming because she has a headache or something. But that never happened. She was always there, very faithful, very dedicated to it.”
