With the Academy Awards taking place today, we look back to our 2019 CYInterview with Oscar winning actress Mo’Nique.
We CYInterviewed the actress during her comedy residency here in Las Vegas [see here] at the former SLS Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, now the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
At the 82nd Academy Awards, in 2010, Mo’Nique won the Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in the Lee Daniels film Precious.
This week, it was announced Mo’Nique will have a comedy special debuting on Netflix on April 4th. The title for the special is My Name is Mo’Nique.
