Lionel Richie at Power of Love Gala, MGM Grand Garden Arena: Talks Making a Difference
On Saturday evening, music legend Lionel Richie attended the Power of Love Gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The singer, songwriter and producer was on hand to accept an award for his contributions to music and supporting Keep Memory Alive, the organization that works to provide treatment and cure to people suffering with neurocognitive disorders.
Mr. Richie was presented his award by another music legend, Country Pop superstar Shania Twain. See a photo of them above.
Before the evening’s festivities, Lionel told CYInterview the reason for celebrity is to make a difference.
On Saturday evening at the Power of Love Gala, funds were raised for the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
During the gala, Richie also performed some of his best hits including Hello, Dancing on the Ceiling and All Night Long.
