Las Vegas’s Westside: Perhaps Largely Unknown to Visitors

Above is a photo taken three miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. In the background, you can see the Wynn Las Vegas, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Treasure Island Hotel and Casino and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. This area of town, which is probably little known by visitors, includes a variety of homes as well as condo and apartment complexes. Additionally, there are a few high-rise buildings in the vicinity.

Of interest to visitors and residents alike is the wonderful selection of restaurants and bars which dot this, the Westside of town. Here, you can find every kind of cuisine, including Asian, Ethiopian, Mexican and Italian, to name a few. There are also classic diners and bars worth visiting. Here, great food at for a good price is the norm.

Resorts on Las Vegas’s Westside include the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, Palms Casino Resort, Gold Coast Hotel and Casino and The Orleans Hotel and Casino.

Though some tourists may not believe it, Las Vegas has a good number of residential neighborhoods right near the famed Las Vegas Strip. Many of the residents in this part of town can see some of the world’s most famous resorts through the windows of their own homes.
