Las Vegas Raiders Fall Short, Still Sport Competitive Record
Today, the Las Vegas Raiders fell short, on the road, against the New York Giants, 23-16. The loss drops the Raiders to 5-3 for the season. Even with the loss, however, the Silver and Black still have one of the best records in the NFL.
The Raiders were not the only top AFC team to lose today. The Buffalo Bills – discussed by various media outlets as a Super Bowl contender – lost to Coach Urban Meyer’s Jacksonville Jaguars 9 to 6. That loss is one of the biggest upsets of the year, in sports. The Bills, like the Raiders, are now 5-3.
The Raiders still have 9 regular season games remaining. They will return home to the Entertainment Capital of the World, to play Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday.
