Las Vegas Raiders Debut Game Sees Silver and Black Best Carolina Panthers; Team Brings Hope to Entertainment Capital of the World; Times are Tough Yet We Shall Survive, Thrive and Grow
Yesterday, the Las Vegas Raiders made history for the Entertainment Capital of the World. Our new home team defeated the Carolina Panthers in a road game, in Charlotte, North Carolina, 34 to 30.
Though Las Vegas is suffering mightily from the slings and arrows of the coronavirus pandemic, our Raiders are shining a bright light on what inevitably will be our growth and our bright future. We are experiencing tough times, but it will get better – lots better.
Next week, the nation will have its eyes on Las Vegas during Monday Night Football, which will air live on ESPN. On September 21st, the Las Vegas Raiders will play their first game here, in our brand-new Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders will host the New Orleans Saints. The stadium will be empty due to the coronavirus pandemic, but spirits will be high.

And last but not least, you can read or listen to our CYInterview with Javin White [see here], a UNLV football star who is now on the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad. Go Javin! Go Raiders!
The Silver and Black will help lead our city back to prosperity and vigor! Stay Safe! Keep the faith!
