The lead photo for this piece, seen above, shows a gigantic astronaut suspended in the sky. That was until midnight Las Vegas time when the astronaut dropped down and spit out a ton of confetti. You can see the astronaut after the drop, as well as confetti falling, in the photo below:
Called Spacious NYE, this New Year’s Eve party entertained hundreds of partygoers who enjoyed what were termed alcoholic non-hangover beverages, champagne, an assortment of other drinks, music and art both inside and outside at the venue Fresh Wata.
Last month, I met Mark Messina who was promoting this New Year’s Eve event and he informed me about this space themed party that would give people a chance to think about their true intentions and goals for the New Year. He wanted CYInterview to witness this great event. Well, we sure did and it was worth it. See my picture with Mark below as we made a toast in the last hours of 2018 at Spacious NYE.
Even though temperatures were low in Las Vegas, many partygoers outside were dancing and enjoying a wide variety of drinks and food. They were not going to let the cold temperature faze them. The event proved to be a positive get together of people dressed in a variety of outfits and styles. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, while taking photos at the different artistic displays inside.
But outside, only in Vegas could an astronaut drop from the sky at midnight.
Happy New Year from Jay and me at CYInterview! We hope you have a great 2019. Below you can find some more photos from Spacious NYE.
