Las Vegas Master Mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim Talks Whiskey Class, Career, More

There are many activities and events to take part in, when in Las Vegas. For example, you can take a mixology class. On June 21st at 7:00 PM, master mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim will lead a class focusing on whiskey, at the Libertine Social restaurant at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

When the Bellagio opened in 1998, Tony was hired as the resort’s mixologist. He led the cocktail program for the hotel and casino. The drink master thought he would only be in the Entertainment Capital of the World for a short period of time. In our CYInterview, he shared with us that:

“I’m still mixing cocktails 20 plus years later (here in Las Vegas).”

Today, Tony is responsible for the drink program for the Las Vegas Raiders and Las Vegas Golden Knights. Additionally, he is a partner in the Libertine Social restaurant.

The mixologist joined us for a discussion about whiskey, his hospitality career in Las Vegas and more.

Featured columnist Jay Bildstein joined us for this discussion.
