Las Vegas Aviators, Three Square Food Bank Food Drive

Las Vegas’s baseball team is working to reduce hunger. This month, the Las Vegas Aviators are partnering with Three Square Food Bank for a virtual food drive called Strike Out for Hunger.

Every dollar that is donated will provide three meals to those dealing with food insecurity in Southern Nevada.

The Las Vegas Aviators are also teaming up with Reno’s baseball team, the Reno Aces to raise awareness for this cause. The Reno Aces will also be raising money for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

The Aviators are the Minor League Baseball, Triple-A affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Oakland Athletics. They play in the Pacific Coast League. Fans of baseball and Las Vegas’s rise as a sports city powerhouse will know that the Athletics are considering moving here, to the Entertainment Capital of the World. Come on As, put your aces on our bases!
