Located in nearby Henderson, Nevada, it is a reservoir where people can partake in a variety of activities including kayaking, paddleboarding and wakeboarding.
There are a handful of resorts you can stay at, by Lake Las Vegas, including The Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa. Consequently, Lake Las Vegas provides a nearby getaway away for residents living here in the Entertainment Capital of the World.
For those who say Las Vegas, and the surrounding region, is just desert, think again. Lake Las Vegas provides numerous water based activities to visitors. And, course, there is Lake Mead, but that is a story for another day.
