And where there is merrymaking there are libations. The best-known drink for those celebrating the Kentucky Derby is the Mint Julep.
In Las Vegas, people can watch the Kentucky Derby and enjoy a Mint Julep at The Front Yard at the Ellis Island Hotel and Casino. The venue has an 18-foot TV screen.
Ellis Island is located less than a mile east of the Las Vegas Strip.
