John Travolta Stars in Kevin Hart’s Latest Film, Die Hart, On Quibi Days after Loss of Wife Kelly Preston
John Travolta’s latest role in Kevin Hart’s movie, Die Hart, slated for release on streaming platform Quibi, July 20th is probably the last thing on the famed actor’s mind. He lost his wife, actress Kelly Preston, to breast cancer just days ago.
However, Mr. Travolta is a consummate professional, both as a leading man and a character actor. We are sure he lent much to Kevin Hart’s movie. Mr. Hart plays a fictionalized version of himself, based on his Hollywood career as a sidekick comedic actor. His desire to become a leading man/action star brings him to an action movie training academy, where he gets more than he bargained for. That is where John Travolta comes in.
Mr. Travolta plays Kevin Hart’s instructor at the school, which is run like a military training camp. Actress Nathalie Emmanuel, of Game of Thrones fame, is cast as a fellow action school student.
