James Bond Film No Time to Die in Theaters October 8th

The wait is almost over for 007’s return to the big screen. The latest James Bond film, No Time to Die, will hit movie theaters next month, on October 8th.

Bond, who is played by Daniel Craig, will be joined by Naomie Harris who is back as Eve Moneypenny. Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Ana De Armas, Ben Whishaw, Lashana Lynch and Jeffrey Wright round out the cast.

Speaking of 007, we cannot help but think of one of the late, great Sean Connery’s James Bond films, Diamonds are Forever. The 1971 movie showcases Las Vegas. Many will recall the scenes shot inside the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino, which is still in operation on today’s Las Vegas Strip. It is an historic and interesting property worth visiting.

In an interview published on mi6-hq.com, Sean Connery talked about his time filming Diamonds are Forever in Las Vegas saying, “The first week I didn’t get any sleep at all. We shot every night, I caught all the shows and played golf all day. On the weekend I collapsed – boy, did I collapse. Like a skull with legs.”

This past August 25th was Sean Connery’s first posthumous birthday. He would have been 91. He died last year on October 31st, 2020.

Last year, we revisited our CYInterview with actor Rob Brown, who co-starred with Sean Connery, in the 2000 film Finding Forester. You can find that CYInterview by clicking here.
