Last week, the United States Congress passed a $2.2 trillion relief package that was signed in to law, focused on assisting millions of Americans now unemployed owing to the coronavirus pandemic. The legislation also seeks to aid businesses in a variety of industries, which have been impacted by this enormous health challenge.

To understand the economic impact of injecting over $2 trillion dollars of stimulus into the American economy, we welcome back University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) economics professor Stephen Miller. He is also the college’s Director for the Center for Business and Economic Research.

Additionally, we discuss what the future holds for Las Vegas’s economy after the hotels and casinos are allowed to reopen.
