This past weekend, actor/comedian Rob Schneider paid a visit to Homefield Improv. Located in Kendall, at the Homefield Sports Bar and Grill, this is the Improv’s new home in Miami. Many will recall Rob’s hilarious movie roles in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, The Animal and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, among many others.
Mr. Schneider performed two stand-up comedy sets, in front of hundreds, at the Improv. His act included comic commentary on things that happen to people in their 20s and 40s, Edward Snowden and the NSA, gun control and his wife, Mexican TV producer Patricia Azarcoya. The crowd seemed thoroughly entertained as indicated by the constant laughter.
Between shows, we paid a visit to Rob’s private suite. He is a very nice guy and a true professional. You can see our photo, together, above. We look forward to a CYInterview with him in the future.
The Miami Imrpov has found a new home in Kendall and is sure to benefit the area. Unlike other parts of Miami, Kendall has little in the way of live entertainment. The mall and the movies seem to be the way many locals spend their free time. Homefield Improv will likely be a popular ticket, for many in the area who would like to be entertained by prominent comics, such as Rob Schneider.
Many thanks to David Singer, of the Homefield Improv, for the excellent hospitality he extended us.
