Giving Thanks to Las Vegas on Thanksgiving
Back in March we CYInterviewed celebrity chef and restauranter Wolfgang Puck, on the red carpet at the Power of Love Gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on the Las Vegas Strip. See our photo above with him, from that evening, and our CYInterview with him by clicking here. Aside from all the entertainment, gaming and shopping Las Vegas has to offer, we have some of the best cuisine and best chefs anywhere in the world.
Today, Thanksgiving, we give thanks to all the people who work in the food service industry here, in the Entertainment Capital of the World. You keep Las Vegas fed through good times and bad. Thank you for all your hard work.
To the people in the hospitality industry, you are what keeps the hotels and casinos alive. You are the reason Las Vegas has thrived and will thrive again. Thank you for all your hard work.
Thank you to the entertainment community of Las Vegas. You are what makes us the Entertainment Capital of the World. You energize our minds and our souls with your dancing, singing, comedy, drama and magic. You are the artful angels of our progress as a city. You dazzle us and inspire us. Thank you.
To the people who keep Las Vegas moving, like taxi drivers, Uber or Lyft drivers, thank you. To everyone who works at McCarran Airport. Thank you. You are all an integral part of our city’s success.
To the all the police, firefighters, postal workers, government workers, salespeople, supermarket workers, shop workers, construction workers, plumbers, electricians, lawyers and businesspeople, thank you very much.
To the doctors, dentists, nurses, assistants, hospital workers and all allied health professionals, you do so much for us in ordinary times. Now, in the face of the pandemic, you are doing so much more and risking your lives every day doing it. There are not enough words in the English language with which to thank you. Know though how profoundly grateful we are to you. Thank you!
And finally, to our visitors, whether you come to Las Vegas every month or once in a while, thank you for making us the Entertainment Capital of the World. Thank you for enjoying coming here and spending your time with us. Thank you for believing in Las Vegas, the ultimate city of the imagination.
Things are tough. There is no doubt about that. But, together, we will be back better than ever.
Last but not least, to CYInterview’s readers and listeners, thank you very much. We are here to serve you. Thank you for your preference.
Happy Thanksgiving from Las Vegas! Please have a safe holiday.
