Fury Beats Wilder in Las Vegas

Tonight, at the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip, reigning WBC heavyweight boxing champion of the world Tyson Fury beat the former WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder, by way of knockout in the 11th round. This was the third meeting of the two pugilists. Their first contest was a draw. Their second fight resulted in a victory for Tyson Fury.

Both fighters demonstrated great heart in this matchup. However, Fury proved better at eluding punches as well as delivering them. He had greater fighting endurance, though visually, Wilder appeared more fit.

This was a terrific fight. Both boxers should be proud of their efforts. Somehow, I expect there might be a Fury vs. Wilder IV. Only time will tell.
